Skill Comment We focused on Grade
Skill learnt: Trick Training Comment: For her birthday today the trainer wanted to celebrate and do all the tricks we know Cookie loves to do. To start the trainer did a bit of her new skills of “parkour”. This was not only to have some fun since she loves doing this trick but to also burn some of her excess energy to make it easier for her to focus. Like usual she advanced so quickly today, the trainer was able to increase the angle of the board she is jumping on and off of to almost entirely vertical which is what the end goal is! The fact she jumps towards the wall and bounces off is really helpful in teaching this skill and the trainer is confident they will be able to progress to actual walls soon with her! Focus: Conditioning B+
Skill learnt: Trick Training Comment: For her second session the trainer did some toy collection with Cookie with a little twist for some fun! They did a little hide and seek game where they put a towel over cookie as they went around the room and placed and hide the soft ball toys, once this was done the trainer then took the towel off and asked cookie to “search” for them! She rocketed around the classroom to find the balls, she did need a little guidance from the trainer every now and again but this was because she was just going too fast and would run past a few of the balls when she needed to just slow down! She had a blast this second session and so did the trainer! Focus: Repetition A+
Skill learnt: Trick Training Comment: For her last session of her birthday today the trainer did some “riding” with cookie! First they did some skateboarding and went outside to do this, cookie rode the skate board all outside today even trying to do it on the gravel but not getting very far! She loved this so much the trainer then did some scooter with her, this is a little newer for Cookie and the trainer has to push her while she is on the scooter however she was able to balance all on her own today while the trainer pushed her around for a victory lap around the classroom! Focus: Duration B+
