Cookie did very well today, struggled a bit outside with focus but did super on everything else!
It was a PLEASURE training with your pooch today and we look forward to continuing to help you achieve your goals, skills and improve your relationship.
Your journey does not end here, it has only just begun!
"I trained hard, I played hard! Please find below the skills we worked on and my results. I look forward to showing you what I learnt and working on them more with you!" If you have any questions about the skills we trained please feel free to contact todays trainer."
|Skill||Comment||We focused on||Grade|
|Skill learnt: Place Training||Comment: To get Cookie engaged we worked on place and paws up. She did super well switching between the two and by the end was 100% engaged. She knows paws up from a word command and can even follow the trainer and do a circle with her back legs. This is really good for her rear end awareness and she did very well.||Focus: Distraction||A|
|Skill learnt: Loose Lead (No pull)||Comment: We started in the cattery for her loose lead walking, she was very focused in there so decided to go outside. However Cookie was very distracted outside, she was very interested in the smells all over the grass. So to get her engaged we did some RLGL drops, she did very well with these but still struggled to give the trainer 100% engagement. She is great with her drops and does them straight away and didn’t break, even when the trainer walked all around her. To improve her loose lead walking fewer distractions would be better, more walks in the cattery or lower level environments.||Focus: Distraction||B|
|Skill learnt: Trick Training||Comment: For Cookies last session today we worked on her skateboarding skill. She did really well with this, she still requires the lure to get on and to move along but she is very confident with her balance and movement in her back legs. To improve her progress with this skill, fewer rewards should be used. This way she can be weened off the lure and slowly move towards a verbal cue.||Focus: Duration||B+|
