Skill | Comment | We focused on | Grade |
---|---|---|---|
Skill learnt: Trick Training | Comment: (Orbit) For her first session to get her in the right mind frame the trainer did some trick routines with a focus on Orbit. She is smashing this skill being able to do it today off of both the verbal “orbit” and a little hand gesture! Her speed is amazing with this skill and she is able to do it from multiple angles. She was less vocal today and really focused which is great! The trainer has significantly reduced her reward schedule today giving her almost none at all this session unless she did something really progressive with her skills. | Focus: Repetition | B+ |
Skill learnt: Trick Training | Comment: (Scooter) For her seocnd session the trainer contained her “scooter” training. She smashed this today! The focus on the session today was getting her to get onto the scooter with all 4 paws and add some movement. She was amazing today, jumping up almost instantly and shifting around until she was on the scooter. To help her the trident did hold the scooter steady until she had the right position. It was then the trainer started adding movement to the scooter, not only did she hold it straight she even dangled a leg off the side as if she was pushing the scooter! She did awesome today and made some real progress! | Focus: Conditioning | B |
Skill learnt: Muzzle Conditioning | Comment: For her last session today the trainer works on cookies “muzzle” skill with a focus on increasing her distance she can run into her muzzle! The trainers had some fun with cookie today and set up a little challenge for her. The trainers first started getting Cookie to do muzzle where she had to get up on the ottoman in order the reach the muzzle, once they knew she could do this the trainers got Cookie off lead (the classroom was empty!) and had her go between the two ottomans as they were set on opposite sides of the classroom with her “muzzle” skill! She smashed it being able to easily go from one side to the other on command! Well done Cookie! | Focus: Distance | B+ |
