It was a PLEASURE training with your pooch today and we look forward to continuing to help you achieve your goals, skills and improve your relationship.

Your journey does not end here, it has only just begun!

"I trained hard, I played hard! Please find below the skills we worked on and my results. I look forward to showing you what I learnt and working on them more with you!" If you have any questions about the skills we trained please feel free to contact todays trainer."

Skill Comment We focused on Grade
Skill learnt: Trick Training Comment: For her first session today the trainer did some work on her sit pretty skill with a big focus on her duration in this position as the trainer had noticed she was dropping from it rather quickly expecting the reward. On top of working up her duration she was asked to do it all over the property today including on top of an ottoman and the table outside! Once she caught on like usual she rocketed through the training so the trainer finished this first session with a little Christmas photo where Cookie actually helped the trainer wraps her in tinsel (used her roll in a blanket skill!) and took some photos looking like a Christmas tree! :D Focus: Repetition B+
Skill learnt: Trick Training Comment: Today being her last day of the year the trainer wanted to try make some progress on one of her more difficult skills and so did a bit of “yoga pose”. To help with this today the trainer noticed that using the paws up pads helped cookie to target certain legs to go up and others to stay down! To help with this and not let her put two paws on the pads they blocked half of the pads with obstacles only giving enough space for one foot! The trainer then placed them in the right positions and at first lured cookie on to them, initially she tried to get two legs up on each pad but with the barrier stopping her she soon realised what was going on! Doing both feet at the moment is a little hard for her however the session today was spent on getting first the front paw then the back paw up on to the pads, from here we will be able to move forward to getting her to get on the pads without a lure before finally getting rid of the pads all together! Focus: Conditioning B
Skill learnt: Trick Training Comment: For her last session the trainer continued her parkour training as she seems to love this so much and has been making such good progress with it! Today the trainer challenged Cookie with this skill by not only taking her outside into a new environment but also they were doing while walking as well! She still needs the “parkour board” to get her to do the jump but going forward the trainer is going to start phasing this out, they noticed that the traffic cone is the biggest obstacle that makes her jump up and around it, so if we can first phase out the board then phase out the cone before then having her bouncing off walls with this command! This was an awesome way to finish out the year and the trainers are going to miss little miss Cookie over the holiday period and can’t wait till she joins us back for some more training in the new year! Focus: Confidence B+
