Cookie was very keen for training today. She kept good focus working on her leg weave but would sometimes get a little sidetracked. All in all a great day of work for her!
It was a PLEASURE training with your pooch today and we look forward to continuing to help you achieve your goals, skills and improve your relationship.
Your journey does not end here, it has only just begun!
"I trained hard, I played hard! Please find below the skills we worked on and my results. I look forward to showing you what I learnt and working on them more with you!" If you have any questions about the skills we trained please feel free to contact todays trainer."
|Skill||Comment||We focused on||Grade|
|Skill learnt: Trick Training||Comment: For her first session we started on the basics of backwards leg weave. As Cookie has had a lot of practice going backwards it was easy to get her to move but she did need a little help to do the right angle through the legs as she has become quite used to going around the legs backwards. The main focus of this session was to have her go backwards through the legs and move a distance more backwards so that next session we can start with turning her again for a second leg weave.||Focus: Foundation||B|
|Skill learnt: Trick Training||Comment: For her second session we continued on her backwards leg weave. Having her off lead with no dogs on the classroom did make this easier as we weren't getting tangled as easily! This session we were able to get her to do 2 legs weaves in a row (not very smoothly though) with a heavy lure. This is good progress and the next step will be to try and reduce her dependence on the lure.||Focus: Repetition||B+|
|Skill learnt: Trick Training||Comment: For her last session of leg weave the focus was to reduce her dependence on the lure. Due to her work in orbit she was very good at following the hand movements in the weaves and didn't need the food in hand for it anymore. As she was back on lead we kept it at 2 leg weaves so that she didn't get tangled up. Keep working on it at home, I don't think this one will take her very long to get!||Focus: Repetition||B+|
