Skill Comment We focused on Grade
Skill learnt: Trick Training Comment: Her first session today focused on her yoga pose. Cookie was still a bit unsure about this so we decided to actually hold her leg in position since tapping gently wasn’t quite enough. With each repetition we would try and remove our hand, if she kept her leg up (for even a second) we marked and rewarded. The most she held it for was approx 2-3 seconds, we still kept our hand just under her front leg incase we needed to remind her. Focus: Duration B
Skill learnt: Paws Up (on object) Comment: This session was a little bit of fun, we found the scooter and worked on her paws up on the handles while keeping one foot on the step and one on the ground. Cookie knew what to do so we worked on her balance, since she seems to lean forward a lot making the scooter unstable (perhaps we need some training wheels haha…). Once she has mastered the balancing aspect it would be great to introduce some movement! Focus: Repetition B
Skill learnt: Muzzle Conditioning Comment: The last session was all about the muzzle, but making it increasingly harder each time for her to stick her nose in it! We started out easy and then slowly progressed higher, or under things or over some obstacles! She really enjoyed this and it was fun thinking of different challenges! Go Cookie! :) Focus: Repetition A+

We recommend your next step should be…
