Cookie was so happy at training today! We love seeing her enthusiasm and drive everytime she comes in. She was quite demanding if she wasn't getting her treats fast enough during her trick training!
It was a PLEASURE training with your pooch today and we look forward to continuing to help you achieve your goals, skills and improve your relationship.
Your journey does not end here, it has only just begun!
"I trained hard, I played hard! Please find below the skills we worked on and my results. I look forward to showing you what I learnt and working on them more with you!" If you have any questions about the skills we trained please feel free to contact todays trainer."
|Skill||Comment||We focused on||Grade|
|Skill learnt: Trick Training||Comment: For her first session we worked on Cookie's roll up in a blanket skill to assess where she is at with it. Cookie happily grabbed the corner of the towel but would let go after about 2 seconds so we started working on her hold so that she can keep holding it during the roll over. She did improve a bit over the session but working on her duration of hold will be a good focus for the start of this skill.||Focus: Duration||C+|
|Skill learnt: Muzzle Conditioning||Comment: For her second session we had Cookie wear a muzzle as part of our muzzle appreciation week while going over some of her basics such as loose lead and drop. Cookie did quite well with the muzzle (though she did get frustrated when we started asking her to hold her nose in it longer!). While walking she did try to get the muzzle off quite a bit but listened well to the drop command while walking even with the muzzle distraction.||Focus: Distraction||B+|
|Skill learnt: Trick Training||Comment: For her last session we went over her blanket trick again. This time we did a full focus on her doing the hold skill with the corner of the towel with an emphasis on her holding it until released. Cookie did struggle a little with this - while she was good at holding for a few seconds she would often drop it before being released. Working on her hold skill at home will help her towards this trick.||Focus: Duration||B|
