Skill Comment We focused on Grade
Skill learnt: Trick Training Comment: For her first session today Cookie worked on her jump rope skill! For the first few minutes we practiced getting her to jump straight up, using a lure to encourage her. Once she was doing this successfully we tied some rope to the pole and got her to jump over the rope. To start with we just got her running and jumping over it so she understood what she had to do. The two can slowly be brought together, jumping on the spot and the rope! Go cookie! Focus: Foundation C+
Skill learnt: Trick Training Comment: Cookies second session today was all about basketball! We wanted to try something good different but of course Cookie is a genius and started doing it straight away. We worked on creating distance between the ball and the hoop. She did so well with this, we had lots of fun. Focus: Distance A+
Skill learnt: Paws Up (on object) Comment: For her last session today Cookie worked on her balance! We used the the smaller wobble board to make it more challenging. The focus of this was to get all four feet onto the board, she has no problems getting two feet but seemed very hesitant of movement. To help with this we put our feet underneath to stop it moving as much. This seemed to help and allowed her to get all four feet on and sit down. After a while we could slowly slide our feet out from underneath, although she would jump off as soon as she felt too much movement. This was a challenge for miss cookie, it was good to really test her with something. Focus: Confidence B+

We recommend your next step should be…
