Coco Chanel's Doggy Dayschool Report

2022-02-01

It was a PLEASURE training with your pooch today and we look forward to continuing to help you achieve your goals, skills and improve your relationship.

Your journey does not end here, it has only just begun!

"I trained hard, I played hard! Please find below the skills we worked on and my results. I look forward to showing you what I learnt and working on them more with you!" If you have any questions about the skills we trained please feel free to contact todays trainer."

Skill Comment We focused on Grade
Skill learnt: Obstacle Course (Confidence Building) Comment: First session for Coco was the confidence course. Again she was a little unsure about entering the course but once she did she followed the trainer around very willingly! She did a fantastic job and appeared more engaged with the trainer today. Focus: Confidence X
Skill learnt: Place Training Comment: Next up was place for Coco. She wanted to take in all her surroundings and wasn’t keen on treats initially. However within a couple of minutes she was taking treats and engaging well with the trainer. The trainer was able to introduce her to the place skill and by the end of the session was able to take a few steps away from Coco. This skill is going to be a great one for Coco to know at home to help with her overexcited behaviour and give her the opportunity to have a place to chill and relax whilst learning to resist distractions. Work with Coco the same as you would with Saphy. Introduce distractions slowly and use the yes marker more if Coco is breaking place often. Focus: Duration C+
Skill learnt: Exposure Comment: Next session Coco was not as focused so the trainer took Coco for a confidence walk. This helps Coco become familiar with the property that she will be training in as well as exposing her to new things. She was curious about the horse but didn’t want to get to close and she was happy to see the people she met last week. Although not fully engaged Coco still checked in with the trainer every so often which is an improvement. Well done Coco on another great day. Focus: Confidence B
