Another good day for Coco. Although was nervous around the cows!
It was a PLEASURE training with your pooch today and we look forward to continuing to help you achieve your goals, skills and improve your relationship.

|Skill||Comment||We focused on||Grade|
|Skill learnt: Loose Lead (No pull)||Comment: Coco’s first session was a confidence walk. Before heading outside the trainer took her to the kitchen where new people were working. Coco was nervous and didn’t want to take treats but she’s did sit and drop a couple of times which was great to see. The trainer walked Coco around the property and met the cows. She did get quite close but was keen to leave as soon as possible. She was to distracted to take treats or do basic obedience. It will be good to expose Coco to more things like this. She is happy with the trainer and is certainly has more faith in her trainers now. Which means although not comfortable in those situations she trusts her handler!||Focus: Distraction||B|
|Skill learnt: Obstacle Course (Confidence Building)||Comment: Next up, to help her relax but still work on her confidence the trainer took Coco through the confidence course. She still is happy to go through the course as long as she has the trainer to follow. Coco is not up to going around the course without the encouragement yet.||Focus: Confidence||X|
|Skill learnt: Recall||Comment: Recalls was the focus of Coco’s final session. She was very distracted and needed the tug on the leash to get her attention. The trainer used Coco’s name to get her attention and then ran backwards with treats in hand so that Coco could see. Coco did a number of not bad recalls but she’s is not engaged with the trainer at all due to Coco still building her confidence. Recalls should improve as Coco’s confidence builds.||Focus: Repetition||C+|
We recommend your next step should be…

B: Great Work (80-89%) I mostly understand, Almost neat & complete! Needs practice in some areas. Mild distractions
C: Well Done (70-79%) Some good progress. Needs work, but on my way. Still learning. Low distractions.
D: Beginning (60-69%) My journey is just beginning, I don’t understand just yet. Introduction phase. No distraction.
E: Unable to Progress. Needs major focus, seek further options to assist.
X: Not gradable, the focus was on Enrichment, Socialisation & Engagement.
