Clarence's Doggy Dayschool Report

It was a PLEASURE training with your pooch today and we look forward to continuing to help you achieve your goals, skills and improve your relationship.

Your journey does not end here, it has only just begun!

"I trained hard, I played hard! Please find below the skills we worked on and my results. I look forward to showing you what I learnt and working on them more with you!" If you have any questions about the skills we trained please feel free to contact todays trainer."

Skill Comment We focused on Grade
Skill learnt: Loose Lead (No pull) Comment: Clarrie’s first session was loose lead walking. Clarrie was pulling quite a bit at first. Changing directions frequently helped Clarrie stop pulling and walk without pulling. Going forward it will be good to see not only less pulling but also have more engagement. He is looking around a lot and not paying much attention to the handler. At home make sure you walk Clarrie by himself and use treats and direction changes to help him focus on you. Focus: Distraction B
Skill learnt: Drop/ Down Comment: Next up for Clarrie was drops. He did quite well at this in the low distraction environment of the classroom, as no other dogs were training at the time. As the session progressed Clarrie’s duration increased and next time the trainer will work on increasing distractions during the drop session. It was great to have some good cuddles with Clarrie during this session and he even went up to the other trainer as well! Good to see his confidence growing. Focus: Duration C+
Skill learnt: Trick Training Comment: Last up the trainer made a little obstacle course for Clarrie. It consisted of going through a hoop as well as paws up on some different items. Once Clarrie was confident tackling those skills individually the trainer got Clarrie to go through all the skills in a row and he did a great job! It really showed in his face the fun he had and the sense of achievement he got out of the success of the skills! Great work Clarrie. Focus: Repetition B
