Skill Comment We focused on Grade
Skill learnt: Drop/ Down Comment: Session one with Clancy we started with his drop skill in the classroom. There were many distractions around including dog and people. Clancy did struggle to begin with although after the trainer corrected the behaviour Clancy had better duration and engagement with the trainer. Mr Clancy is showing heaps of improvement which is great to see. Focus: Distraction B
Skill learnt: Muzzle Conditioning Comment: Session two with Clancy we practiced his skill of muzzle conditioning. Clancy was putting his face into the muzzle when placed infront of him. This session the trainer worked on building his duration by increasing the treats while he was wearing the muzzle, by doing this Clancys duration is increasing. Focus: Repetition B+
Skill learnt: Loose Lead (No pull) Comment: Session three with Clancy we practiced some loose lead in the classroom in a low distraction environment. Clancy was distracted to begin with but shaped back into gear quickly. Clancy showed great engagement with the trainer and preformed great loose lead throughout the whole session. Focus: Distraction B+
