Skill Comment We focused on Grade
Skill learnt: Place Training Comment: In his first session, Clancy focused on further developing his skill 'place' within the high distracting classroom environment (two dogs training nearby and three additional dogs in crates). We focused on this skill to build his impulse control around dogs. Clancy was initially distracted, however as the session progressed he quickly began to redirect his focus. While in a place he can struggle with duration, but with some guidance he maintains it well. Focus: Foundation C+
Skill learnt: Loose Lead (No pull) Comment: In his second session, Clancy focused on further developing his skill 'loose lead' while conditioning to other dogs. Clancy performed well, he can be come distracted by the other dogs and show some vocalisation. Once engaged with his trainer he performed well, he did require lots of treats. Focus: Foundation C
Skill learnt: Sit Comment: In his final session, Clancy focused on further develop his skill 'sit' under duration. We focused on this skill to build his impulse control around dogs. Clancy responds well to the verbal cue 'sit' but can struggle with his duration (how long he holds the skill). As the session progressed he began to maintain it well. Focus: Duration B
