Skill Comment We focused on Grade
Skill learnt: Conditioning Comment: For session one we started with some engagement games (throwing fritz to one side then the other) to try and build his confidence because he was feeling a bit nervous and overwhelmed. By doing this his focus was on the trainer and not the surroundings. By the end of session one he was showing that he was more confident and not as nervous in the classroom environment. Focus: Conditioning C+
Skill learnt: Drop/ Down Comment: For session two we practiced the skill of drop “lay down”. Chester Bear did very well at drops and didn’t need a food lure by the end. To increase the duration of the skill the trainer used frequent rewards and his duration improved as the session progressed. Focus: Conditioning B
Skill learnt: Place Training Comment: For session three we practiced the skill of place. This skill is very useful and can be used as a way of making Chester Bear have a safe place and a place to wind down. Chester Bear did very well and went on and off place with minimal lures. Focus: Conditioning A

A: Outstanding (90 – 100%) I understand my training, Neat & Complete! Ready to move on to higher difficulty & distraction
B: Great Work (80-89%) I mostly understand, Almost neat & complete! Needs practice in some areas. Mild distractions
C: Well Done (70-79%) Some good progress. Needs work, but on my way. Still learning. Low distractions.
D: Beginning (60-69%) My journey is just beginning, I don’t understand just yet. Introduction phase. No distraction.
E: Unable to Progress. Needs major focus, seek further options to assist.

X: Not gradable, the focus was on Enrichment, Socialisation & Engagement.
