|Skill||Comment||We focused on||Grade|
|Skill learnt: Trick Training||Comment: For his first session we worked on sit pretty/meerkat for Chema. Chema did well this session but did struggle a number of times to stay on his butt while reaching up. He may have been a bit tired from class last night so we did several repetitions and had him hold a drop duration in between to rest. He was able to do a handful of good meerkats before the end of the session but tried his best on every attempt regardless.||Focus: Repetition||B|
|Skill learnt: Trick Training||Comment: For his second session we worked on bow/booty. To start off with we just put him into the bow as he was a bit unsure on the flat surface and would drop instead. After a few repetitions we worked on placing different sized objects on his butt. He did quite well with this though sometimes would drop his butt when he felt some objects. Persisting with the same object did help him get used to staying in the bow. He did an amazing job considering how difficult this skill is and kept great balance!||Focus: Distraction||B+|
|Skill learnt: Trick Training||Comment: For his last session we practiced Chema's hold skill. Chema is very good at grabbing onto the hose bit so we started working on building some duration and getting Chema to hold it on his own. Chema did start improving in his hold but does tend to let go of the item as soon as the trainer does so this part does need a bit of work. For the last 5 minutes we practiced his booty skill outside in thr pumpkin patch which he did really well with!||Focus: Duration||B|
