Chema started off really strong with some great work but did get more distracted as the day progressed.
It was a PLEASURE training with your pooch today and we look forward to continuing to help you achieve your goals, skills and improve your relationship.
Your journey does not end here, it has only just begun!
"I trained hard, I played hard! Please find below the skills we worked on and my results. I look forward to showing you what I learnt and working on them more with you!" If you have any questions about the skills we trained please feel free to contact todays trainer."
|Skill||Comment||We focused on||Grade|
|Skill learnt: Loose Lead (No pull)||Comment: For his first session we worked on loose lead outside with another dog present. Chema has improved with his loose lead and after a few minutes to settle down he walked nicely besides the trainer which is a good improvement from his usual slightly in front. He did great with verbal only drops though needs to work on going fully into drops still (often will keep his front legs stretched out and not fully relax).||Focus: Distraction||B+|
|Skill learnt: Place Training||Comment: For his second session we worked on send to place past food distractions. We initially started with one plate of kibble and as he improved we moved up to 2 plates. He got very distracted when Pickle first entered the room but after a bit he re-engaged with the trainer and was able to go back to being sent to place with 2 other dogs in the classroom as added distractions. Well done Chema!||Focus: Distraction||B|
|Skill learnt: Loose Lead (No pull)||Comment: For his last session we took Chema back outside to work some more on his loose lead and drops around another dog. He was more distracted this time and didn't do as well as his first session. Continuing to work on his skills outside around other dogs will help him with his reactivity and engagement.||Focus: Distraction||B|
