It was great to see Mr Chema today. He is progressing well with all of his skill, he can struggle with duration in drop.
It was a PLEASURE training with your pooch today and we look forward to continuing to help you achieve your goals, skills and improve your relationship.
Your journey does not end here, it has only just begun!
"I trained hard, I played hard! Please find below the skills we worked on and my results. I look forward to showing you what I learnt and working on them more with you!" If you have any questions about the skills we trained please feel free to contact todays trainer."
|Skill||Comment||We focused on||Grade|
|Skill learnt: Loose Lead (No pull)||Comment: In his first session, Chema focused on further developing his skill 'loose lead' walking around the pet retreat grounds. Chema initially struggled to engage with his trainer because of the high distractions (dogs barking). As the session progressed he slowly began to redirect his focus, however this can be broken quickly for small directions (smells, bugs, loud noise).||Focus: Distraction||C+|
|Skill learnt: Trick Training||Comment: In his second session, Chema focused on further developing his skill 'hanky' utilising the treat and train. Chema performed very well, he interacted with the hanky straight away. He quickly began to open his mouth onto the hanky and begin pulling.||Focus: Foundation||B+|
|Skill learnt: Drop/ Down||Comment: Chema was challenged with remaining in passive drop while the trainer worked around him. He initially struggled, breaking several times. However as the session progressed he began to maintain it well.||Focus: Duration||B+|
|Skill learnt: Conditioning||Comment: In his final session, Chema focused on challenging his problem solving skills utilising different objects and skills with the treat and train. These include, paws up, rug roll, drop, crate and place. Chema initially struggled, but as the session progressed he began to figure out what the trainer was asking of him.||Focus: Foundation||X|
