Chase did really well today! He has lots of fun and was really focused!
It was a PLEASURE training with your pooch today and we look forward to continuing to help you achieve your goals, skills and improve your relationship.
Your journey does not end here, it has only just begun!
"I trained hard, I played hard! Please find below the skills we worked on and my results. I look forward to showing you what I learnt and working on them more with you!" If you have any questions about the skills we trained please feel free to contact todays trainer."
|Skill||Comment||We focused on||Grade|
|Skill learnt: Trick Training||Comment: For his first session today we worked on his place and around skill. He did so well with this and was super enthusiastic about it! We were able to build the distance of the cone by quite a lot! We still had to guide him around the cone but it won’t be long until he can do it just by pointing. When we reduced the guidance from the trainer we also decreased the distance between the bed and the cone. He really enjoys this skill and runs around the cone!||Focus: Repetition||B+|
|Skill learnt: Loose Lead (No pull)||Comment: For his second session today we worked on Chase’s loose lead outside. He did pretty good with this, he was a little bit distracted by some smells and would pull a little bit. However, he would change directions with the trainer when they turned around and said “this way.” We practiced some drops and sits outside as well to keep him focused. He did really well with the drops however his sits were a bit hit and miss. He would either break too early or go into a drop, so we had to lure him back into a sit or correct him to get back into position. After a while he did a little better but perhaps the distractions were too much for sitting.||Focus: Distraction||B+|
|Skill learnt: Drop/ Down||Comment: For his last session today we worked on his drops outside after running him through the confidence course a couple times. He did really well with this and we were able to take a few steps backwards and walk all around him without him breaking position. He did really well outside and wasn’t very distracted! His engagement was excellent, to practice this he just needs practice in all sorts of environments, introduced slowly.||Focus: Repetition||A+|
