Your journey does not end here, it has only just begun!

Skill Comment We focused on Grade
Skill learnt: Drop/ Down Comment: Session one with chase we practiced his drop skill under high energy distractions including the trainer running and jumping around, greetings and people distractions. Chase did struggle to begin with although after a few corrections he started to follow directions. Chase continued through the session to show great drops under high distractions. Focus: Distraction B+
Skill learnt: Place Training Comment: Session two with chase we practiced his skill of red light green light place. Chase tired out quickly and began to not be interested in the tug toy so the trainer switched to working on his duration on place around high energy distractions the same used in session one. Chase did really well and has great understanding of this skill. The trainer could see Chase was trying so hard around the high distractions and he was doing so well. Focus: Distraction A
Skill learnt: Drop/ Down Comment: Session three with Chase we practiced his drop skill outside under high distractions including people and dog. There were other people training dogs around him as well as a gardener. Chase did very well and showed great duration in his drops. Chase did bark once at a trainer who was dressed up in a costume the trainer redirected him into a different spot further from her. This helped him and he went back to having engagement with the trainer and showing great duration. Focus: Distraction B
