2021-09-21

It was a PLEASURE training with your pooch today and we look forward to continuing to help you achieve your goals, skills and improve your relationship.

Your journey does not end here, it has only just begun!

"I trained hard, I played hard! Please find below the skills we worked on and my results. I look forward to showing you what I learnt and working on them more with you!" If you have any questions about the skills we trained please feel free to contact todays trainer."

Skill Comment We focused on Grade
Skill learnt: Loose Lead (No pull) Comment: In his first session, Charlie focused on further developing his skill loose lead while outside around people and dogs. Charlie performed well, he can become distracted by people when approaching. When the trainer incorporated drop and spin he would redirect his focus quickly. When he was excited, he also struggled to maintain his drop but with some guidance he quickly began to maintain it well. Focus: Distraction B
Skill learnt: Drop/ Down Comment: In his second session, Charlie focused on further developing his skill drop with duration under distractions. We focused on this skill to build his impulse control and decision making. Charlie responds well to the verbal drop with a hand signal, he can struggle to remain in drop under high distractions. The trainer challenged him with remaining in drop while dropping food on the floor. He initially broke drop three times, but with some guidance, he began to maintain it well. Focus: Distraction B
Skill learnt: Place Training Comment: In his final session, Charlie focused on further developing his skill place around high distraction (people, dogs and food). Charlie loves training this skill, he is very excited and jumps onto the bed. Once on the bed he can struggle with duration but with some guidance he began to maintain it well. The trainer challenged him with remaining on place while food was being thrown on the ground. He initially broke place once, but with some guidance began to maintain it well. Focus: Distraction C+
