|Skill||Comment||We focused on||Grade|
|Skill learnt: Conditioning||Comment: Session one with Callie the trainer did a conditioning session with her in the classroom. There was other dogs training and Callie Is known to be reactive, so the trainer used loads of treats for Callie spreading them in front of her to create a positive environment with other dogs around. Callie did very well for her first session being in such a new environment! She took treats no problem! So proud of her for doing so well. She did react 80% of the time but was easily rea directed to treats which is a big step.||Focus: Conditioning||B|
|Skill learnt: Place Training||Comment: For session two with Callie we Introduced her to the skill “Place”. Again we were in the classroom. We started off with dogs not being visible while leading her onto the raised bed “Place”. While she was on place the trainer rewarded her frequently as new people and dogs entered the room. Callie did amazing! Yes she reacted a few times but she still could re direct to treats which is a good step. She also did very well inbetween sessions being in a crate. She went in and out without any issues and while she was in the crate she slept quietly!||Focus: Confidence||A|
|Skill learnt: Conditioning||Comment: Session three with Callie we started with another session of “Conditioning “. We practiced this skill while other dogs were around in the class again using treats to make the situation positive. Callie did start of weary and reactive although she settled quickly. She still was aware of the other dogs making sure to keep and eye on them although she was taking treats and listening to her name when called. This was a great day with heaps of improvement.||Focus: Conditioning||A|
