Skill Comment We focused on Grade
Skill learnt: Targeting (touch) Comment: Cadbury’s day begin with his ‘touch’ skill using a target stick. Cadbury knows this skill well and performed it beautifully a few times, but 10 minutes in he got tired so we used the remainder of his session to work on his drop duration. Cadbury is such a good boy, keep up the amazing work at home with him. Focus: Distraction B
Skill learnt: Middle Position Comment: Cadbury’s second session was focused on his ‘middles’ skill outside, soaking up the sunshine while it was out. He performed well, but he was a little tired and would not come to middles every time he was called, instead he would drop. So with those times, we worked on his drop duration and after a minute or 2 of resting, he would be ready to go back to middles. Cadbury is a clever boy who knows his skills, he just gets a bit tired. Amazing efforts today! Focus: Distraction B
Skill learnt: Loose Lead (No pull) Comment: Cadbury’s last session was working on his ‘loose lead’ walking outside, incorporating his drops. He had great listening and dropped each time he was asked. He got a little distracted by some birds, but other than that he was perfect. Keep up the progress at home with his walking, increase his distraction levels and see if he will still walk as nicely! Focus: Distraction A
