Cadbury did well today - he needed a little tidying up of his drops but otherwise worked really well with the trainer.
It was a PLEASURE training with your pooch today and we look forward to continuing to help you achieve your goals, skills and improve your relationship.
Your journey does not end here, it has only just begun!
"I trained hard, I played hard! Please find below the skills we worked on and my results. I look forward to showing you what I learnt and working on them more with you!" If you have any questions about the skills we trained please feel free to contact todays trainer."
|Skill||Comment||We focused on||Grade|
|Skill learnt: Loose Lead (No pull)||Comment: For his first session we worked on Cadbury's loose lead outside. Cadbury did fantastic at his loose lead, he stayed right next to the trainer basically the entire session. He did bark once at a dog who was barking at him through the fence but then stopped on his own even as the other dog continued. We also practiced some drops - he was a little slow and reluctant at the start but did start improving over the session. Great job from Cadbury!||Focus: Distraction||A|
|Skill learnt: Targeting (touch)||Comment: For his second session we took it easy with Cadbury as he was a bit tired. We worked on his touch skill so that he could lie down while training. Cadbury wasn't super interested in the wand but did do a few touches. To help him we stuck some food on the end which worked well to keep him focused. Touch targeting is a great entry step into trick training which will be great to keep Cadbury's brain focused and sharp with new learning.||Focus: Repetition||C+|
|Skill learnt: Paws Up (on object)||Comment: For his last session we started with some paws up with Cadbury. Cadbury followed the lure onto the step easily and stayed on it really well. He did tire of this skill after a few minutes (would look like he needed to sit) so we finished with a place duration which Cadbury handled easily.||Focus: Repetition||B|
