Cadbury did a good job today though seemed to tire quite quickly. He lacked engagement with the trainer after the first session but finished off with a great loose lead in the cattery.
It was a PLEASURE training with your pooch today and we look forward to continuing to help you achieve your goals, skills and improve your relationship.
Your journey does not end here, it has only just begun!
"I trained hard, I played hard! Please find below the skills we worked on and my results. I look forward to showing you what I learnt and working on them more with you!" If you have any questions about the skills we trained please feel free to contact todays trainer."
|Skill||Comment||We focused on||Grade|
|Skill learnt: Loose Lead (No pull)||Comment: For his first session we worked on loose lead inside the classroom with Molly and another dog as a distraction. Cadbury did lag a little behind but did a great job of ignoring the other dogs (he looked towards Molly a few times but kept engagement with the trainer). He seemed to tire in the last few minutes and would go into drop so we worked a little on drops before ending the session.||Focus: Distraction||B|
|Skill learnt: Targeting (touch)||Comment: We went to do paws up for his second session but Cadbury was completely unfocused on it and just wanted to lie down. Instead we worked on touch with a wooden spoon and a hand which he did OK with but would be quite lazy at reaching towards the object if he stretched out towards it at all.||Focus: Repetition||C+|
|Skill learnt: Loose Lead (No pull)||Comment: As Cadbury was still having trouble engaging with the trainer we took him into the cattery to finish off with another loose lead session. He did much better this session and did great work keeping pace with the trainer. He wasn't bothered by the cats or birds either which was good. A good finish by Mr Cadbury!||Focus: Distraction||B+|
