It was a PLEASURE training with your pooch today and we look forward to continuing to help you achieve your goals, skills and improve your relationship.

Your journey does not end here, it has only just begun!

"I trained hard, I played hard! Please find below the skills we worked on and my results. I look forward to showing you what I learnt and working on them more with you!" If you have any questions about the skills we trained please feel free to contact todays trainer."

Skill Comment We focused on Grade
Skill learnt: Targeting (touch) Comment: To begin Cadbury’s day, we began with his ‘touch’ skill, using a wooden spoon. Cadbury did very well, but remained in a drop the whole time, so was limited to where he would stretch his nose to. He did very well though and touched exactly when told, even with a dog distraction in the room! Great work Cadbury!! Focus: Distance A
Skill learnt: Paws Up (on object) Comment: Next up, Cadbury worked on his ‘paws up’ skill, using the inflatable pods. Cadbury did so well for the first couple minutes!! He was able to put 2 paws up and stay there, yay! Then Cadbury plopped himself into a drop and had enough of that skill. The trainer then decided to just have another grooming session. Once the trainer reached his lower back, Cadbury would flinch and try to go at the brush, so the trainer took some time to condition him with the use of treats. He let us brush him while he was eating the treats, but if we did not give him any, he would continue to try eat the brush. Maybe revisit this at home and continue conditioning him to it. Focus: Confidence A
Skill learnt: Loose Lead (No pull) Comment: To finish off, Cadbury did some ‘loose lead’ walking in the classroom with some drops in between so he could rest. Cadbury struggled a little today from exercise, so us trainers think he could benefit from hydro swims that we offer on Mondays (as Molly has done before), to help build up his muscles. Other than that, he did really well today!! He dropped exactly when told and had great engagement! Focus: Distraction A
