Cadbury started off very strong but did tire easily today. He gave everything his best effort still and was very focused on the trainer throughout the day.
It was a PLEASURE training with your pooch today and we look forward to continuing to help you achieve your goals, skills and improve your relationship.
Your journey does not end here, it has only just begun!
"I trained hard, I played hard! Please find below the skills we worked on and my results. I look forward to showing you what I learnt and working on them more with you!" If you have any questions about the skills we trained please feel free to contact todays trainer."
|Skill||Comment||We focused on||Grade|
|Skill learnt: Loose Lead (No pull)||Comment: For his first session we took Cadbury out to work on his loose lead in the carpark alongside Molly. Cadbury did quite well with this today - while he did look towards her and pause a few times he was easily redirected back to the trainer. He also did well with a few drops while walking - he dropped right away when asked each time. He did start to tire out near the end so we had him hold a drop around Molly to continue building his focus.||Focus: Distraction||B+|
|Skill learnt: Paws Up (on object)||Comment: For his second session we did some work on his paws up skill. Cadbury was still a bit tired this session and he was a bit hesitant to put his paws on the bucket. Using a lot of luring we were able to get him to put a paw on it a few times but he would often circle around the bucket or lie down next to it.||Focus: Back to Basics||C|
|Skill learnt: Targeting (touch)||Comment: For his last session we worked on touch targeting for Cadbury to take it easy for him. He was good at focusing on the spoon but sometimes needed a little encouragement to actually touch it instead of just putting his nose near it. Transitioning the touch skill to a hand or other objects would be great next steps for this skill.||Focus: Repetition||B+|
