Cadbury started off strong but did get tired near the end of the day. He went over some of his usual skills but also started learning a new skill (middles). He does get distracted by his sister moving around so this is something to work on in future sessions.
It was a PLEASURE training with your pooch today and we look forward to continuing to help you achieve your goals, skills and improve your relationship.
Your journey does not end here, it has only just begun!
"I trained hard, I played hard! Please find below the skills we worked on and my results. I look forward to showing you what I learnt and working on them more with you!" If you have any questions about the skills we trained please feel free to contact todays trainer."
|Skill||Comment||We focused on||Grade|
|Skill learnt: Drop/ Down||Comment: Today Cadbury worked on his loose lead with drops inside the classroom with his sister present. Cadbury did well and responded to the drops quickly when Molly was still, but once Molly was also moving, he was disengaged. Toward the end Cadbury was a bit tired so we finished this session with a drop duration. In the future we want Cadbury to be able to stay focused, no matter the distraction.||Focus: Distraction||B|
|Skill learnt: Targeting (touch)||Comment: Cadbury worked on his ‘touch’ skill for his second session today. This was to strengthen his focus and engagement. He did very good and responded quickly to the command. Although he did well, once a different object was incorporated, he did not respond and got confused. In the future we want to progress with this skill so he is able to do it with any object.||Focus: Repetition||B|
|Skill learnt: Middle Position||Comment: To finish off Cadbury was introduced to the ‘middles’ skill. As he was very tired by this last session, he did a couple tries of this skill and for the rest of the session we did drop duration with dog distractions. For future sessions we hope to exceed more with his middles skill as it is a good skill to have when faced with difficult situations.||Focus: Foundation||C+|
