Buster was quite good today. He was happy to be back at training but does need some more work on a few of his skills.
It was a PLEASURE training with your pooch today and we look forward to continuing to help you achieve your goals, skills and improve your relationship.
Your journey does not end here, it has only just begun!
"I trained hard, I played hard! Please find below the skills we worked on and my results. I look forward to showing you what I learnt and working on them more with you!" If you have any questions about the skills we trained please feel free to contact todays trainer."
|Skill||Comment||We focused on||Grade|
|Skill learnt: Drop/ Down||Comment: For his first session we worked inside the classroom with Buster’s drop skill. He had another dog as a distraction with the goal to get him to do drops while walking. Buster did pretty good with this today – he didn’t always have the best engagement but didn’t try and pull towards the other dog. He was a bit slow for some of his drops but a quick “uh-uh” marker would have him moving into drop quickly. This skill just needs a little more work to get his drops quicker and improve his focus around distractions.||Focus: Distraction||B|
|Skill learnt: Loose Lead (No pull)||Comment: For his second session we worked on loose lead around two other trainers to help with his people distraction. Buster was interested in them but would listen to the trainer and walked quite nicely most of the time. We did also add some drops again as he had struggled a bit with drops while walking in the previous session. Again, he was a bit slow in his drops but did start to improve near the end.||Focus: Distraction||B+|
|Skill learnt: Place Training||Comment: For his last session we worked on Buster’s place skill. The aim today was to work on his send to place as he really struggled to go to place more than a foot away. We worked continually at this distance and then just a tiny bit more but this needs more work to be able to send him to place in a high distraction environment.||Focus: Distance||C+|

D: Beginning (60-69%) My journey is just beginning, I don’t understand just yet. Introduction phase. No distraction.
