|Skill||Comment||We focused on||Grade|
|Skill learnt: Loose Lead (No pull)||Comment: In his first session, Bunji focused on further developing his skill loose lead within the cattery. We focused on this skill to challenge his focus under distractions (multiple cats). Bunji was initially distracted by the new environment, however, when the trainer began to incorporate his known skill of drop he quickly began to redirect his focus and perform well. For the last few minutes of this session, Bunji showed great engagement and focus despite the high distracting environment.||Focus: Distraction||B+|
|Skill learnt: Drop/ Down||Comment: In his second session, Bunji focused on further developing his skill drop with high distractions, these distractions include training outside with another dog nearby and near the bird aviary. Bunji was initially distracted at the beginning of this session, he would listen to the drop command but struggled to hold duration. Bunji did react to another dog at the beginning of this session but with some guidance from the trainer, he began to ignore the other dog and hold his drop. As the session progressed his engagement improved as did his decision making. He began to respond to the drop command instead of reacting to the dog. Bunji showed no interest in the birds, however, they were stationary.||Focus: Distraction||B|
|Skill learnt: Place Training||Comment: In his final session, Bunji focused on further developing his skill send to place with dog distractions nearby. We focused on this skill to challenge Bunji's focus and impulse control while around dogs. Bunji performed well, he showed great engagement and ignored the dogs. He responds well to the place command, the trainer was able to begin adding distance, starting with one step away and progressing to four steps away.||Focus: Distance||B|
