|Skill||Comment||We focused on||Grade|
|Skill learnt: Loose Lead (No pull)||Comment: In buddys first session we trained Loose lead walking with drops. Today we trained this skill in the classroom that had two other dogs in training this was actually a bit distracting for buddy more then the kennels which was surprising. There were a few times he wouldn’t listen to me saying ‘drop’ because he was distracted but with some lead pressure down he remembered what had to be down. He progressed really well.||Focus: Distraction||A|
|Skill learnt: Place Training||Comment: In his second session we trained place duration outside with another dog in training. This was actually quite difficult for buddy just kept breaking and wanting to say hi, he wasn’t taking treats either but that’s just because he was very distracted. He progressed well though and was a lot more clam when the dog was coming closer.||Focus: Distraction||B+|
|Skill learnt: Play||Comment: Buddys last session we trained fetch, the best way to train this is to have two of his favourite toys, throw one of his favourite toys then when he brings it back make the other toy come alive and give that to him. He is pretty good with bring the toy back, start with short distance then once he gets better put him on a long lead and do it like that. His reward when he brings back one two is his other toy, hope that makes sense you can also look it up as well if you get stuck.||Focus: Repetition||B+|
