Bleu's Doggy Dayschool Report

It was a PLEASURE training with your pooch today and we look forward to continuing to help you achieve your goals, skills and improve your relationship.

Your journey does not end here, it has only just begun!

"I trained hard, I played hard! Please find below the skills we worked on and my results. I look forward to showing you what I learnt and working on them more with you!" If you have any questions about the skills we trained please feel free to contact todays trainer."

Skill Comment We focused on Grade
Skill learnt: Loose Lead (No pull) Comment: For the first session with Bleu, we worked on his loose lead. This was completed outside with various distractions. Bleu demonstrates a good walking pace, however, he lacked engagement with the trainer and showed little interest in food rewards. This may be due to the warmer weather today! Continue to practice at home around high level distractions to build his focus and increase engagement. Focus: Distraction B
Skill learnt: Place Training Comment: The second session focused on Bleu’s place skill. He shows a good understanding of the task and was able to demonstrate it well despite the surrounding distractions. This included other trainers walking past, as well as the sound and smell of others dogs. Bleu also started to show more interest in treats, but was still a little sluggish from the warmth. Practice at home with increasing the distractions. Focus: Distraction B
Skill learnt: Drop/ Down Comment: Our final session for today was Bleu’s drop skill. He typically shows a good understanding of this skill with a verbal cue, however, the weather was really getting to him today! We used a hand lure and some extra positive reinforcement to encourage Bleu. Keep up the practice. Focus: Repetition C+
