|Skill||Comment||We focused on||Grade|
|Skill learnt: Loose Lead (No pull)||Comment: In her first session, Bindi focused on developing her lead manners, we focused on this skill to reduce her challenging behaviour of pulling on the lead. Bindi was initially distracted by the busy environment and struggled to show engagement. The trainer went back to basics and used a lure to guide her to walk nicely. As the session progressed Bindi began to walk well, she successfully walked past other dogs and people.||Focus: Foundation||C+|
|Skill learnt: Drop/ Down||Comment: In her second session, Bindi focused on further developing her skill drop within the busy classroom. We focused on this skill to build her basic obedience and to build her confidence. Bindi responds well to the drop command, she can struggle to hold duration but progressed well throughout the session. As she was performing so well the trainer started to add distance by walking around and away from her while she holds position. She initially struggled to hold her drop but with some encouragement from the trainer, she began to perform well.||Focus: Foundation||B+|
|Skill learnt: Conditioning||Comment: In her final session, Bindi focused on building confidence with human movement. We focused on this skill as the trainers have noticed she can become nervous when the trainer moves too quickly or in a certain way. To build her confidence the trainer would move their arm or leg and then drop treats on the floor. This is conditioning Bindi to the moment being a positive not fearful. This worked well, by the end of the session, the trainer could move their legs without her becoming fearful.||Focus: Confidence||B|
