|Skill||Comment||We focused on||Grade|
|Skill learnt: Place Training||Comment: Biggie’s first session was place outside near the kennel yards with dogs that were making a lot of noise. The place bed was also on grass with some pretty awesome smells! Biggie struggled at first to get on the place bed let alone stay in the bed, given the good smells. As the session progressed Biggie did settle and was holding position longer with an increase of the yes marker. Keep going at home and move the place bed to different places for different distractions.||Focus: Distraction||B|
|Skill learnt: Drop/ Down||Comment: Second session for Biggie was drops. He really did struggle with this and the trainer took him right back to basics to help Biggie remember what to do. As the session progressed Biggie was able to drop when asked and then was holding position for much longer. There were other dogs training at the time but he was not worried about this at all.||Focus: Repetition||C|
|Skill learnt: Recall||Comment: Final session for Biggie was recalls. This was a hard one for Biggie as he loves the farm animal droppings. The trainer had to use lead pressure a number of times to get Biggie to come. When the trainer found a patch with no droppings Biggie was quite good. So going forward this needs to be done in less distracting environments.||Focus: Repetition||C|
