Bentley had a great day today and showed a bit more engagement with the trainer. Well done Bentley
It was a PLEASURE training with your pooch today and we look forward to continuing to help you achieve your goals, skills and improve your relationship.
Your journey does not end here, it has only just begun!
"I trained hard, I played hard! Please find below the skills we worked on and my results. I look forward to showing you what I learnt and working on them more with you!" If you have any questions about the skills we trained please feel free to contact todays trainer."
|Skill||Comment||We focused on||Grade|
|Skill learnt: Loose Lead (No pull)||Comment: Bentley’s first session was loose lead walking. As always he likes to pull the trainer to start with but as the session progresses, he does settle down. However, he will pull regardless if he thinks he might be heading towards where your car might be. The trainer continues to change direction before getting to where Bentley wants to go. This way Bentley learns that pulling will not get him any closer to where he wants to go.||Focus: Repetition||B|
|Skill learnt: Conditioning||Comment: Bentley’s second session was a variety of engagement exercises. When in the classroom it is hard to get Bentley’s attention as he is always looking at the door. However, with the trainer running around with Bentley and then getting him to drop does help get his engagement on the trainer more.(pity that the trainer can’t run for the full 15 minutes!!) It is a version of red light green light and Bentley does seem to enjoy it, and it gets his focus on the trainer.||Focus: Repetition||D|
|Skill learnt: Obstacle Course (Confidence Building)||Comment: The trainer, for the last session, took Bentley around the confidence course. Bentley went around the course a number of times and responded well and engaged with the trainer quite a lot. It was great to see. This was the most Bentley had been engaged with the trainer for a while so it was great progress.||Focus: Repetition||B+|
