Skill Comment We focused on Grade
Skill learnt: Loose Lead (No pull) Comment: Bentley started his day with a bit of loose lead walking and the confidence course. He really is starting to enjoy the course. He is happy and gets that tail wagging. It is a good way for him to start his day with a big boost of confidence. Focus: Repetition B+
Skill learnt: Place Training Comment: Again this week the trainer focused on place training near other dogs. This is to help Bentley get used to being around other dogs and not have to be concerned about them, whilst doing his own job. He did really well in this session and although he didn't truly relaxed he only broke place a couple of times. He also was on passive place during another dog's session and he did lie down during this time, which was great to see. Focus: Distraction C+
Skill learnt: Drop/ Down Comment: Bentley really struggled with his drops today. The trainer walked down the main aisle of the kennel and although most of the dogs were outside, Bentley kept breaking position. The trainer would like to keep working on this to get Bentley used to being around other dogs in a drop position and to trust his handler. The trainer would recommend a private session with Jess to help develop a plan for Bentley going forward. Focus: Distraction C

We recommend your next step should be…

E: Unable to Progress. Needs major focus, seek further options to assist.

X: Not gradable, the focus was on Enrichment, Socialisation & Engagement.
