|Skill||Comment||We focused on||Grade|
|Skill learnt: Obstacle Course (Confidence Building)||Comment: Bentley started with a bang today and smashed the confidence course! He kept the trainer on her toes with running around to try and keep up with him!! He was very pleased with himself at the end. Job well done on this one Bentley and good to see you enjoying it.||Focus: Repetition||B+|
|Skill learnt: Drop/ Down||Comment: Today the trainers want to focus on dealing with Bentley's stress levels around the other dogs. He is a whiz at his foundation skills so the trainer are going to be putting them to use to condition Bentley around other dogs using the skills he is so good at. The first one being drop, and Bentley did try and break a couple of times but overall held position well with the other dogs in the kennels around him. He was a little picky when he took treats which was directly related to how he was feeling around the other dogs. Next time the trainer would like to see Bentley not break position and to start to relax a bit more. Overall though he did a great job.||Focus: Repetition||C+|
|Skill learnt: Place Training||Comment: The trainer continued really focusing on getting used to Bentley being in close proximity to other dogs and learning to not stress as much as he does now. The trainer used the place skill this time to help give Bentley a job to do. This helps him concentrate on that job and less on the other dogs. At first Bentley broke position a couple of times but by the end was starting to relax a tiny bit. He was taking treats constantly and certainly was more relaxed than he had been in the previous session. Certainly something the trainers will continue to work on with him.||Focus: Repetition||C+|
