|Skill||Comment||We focused on||Grade|
|Skill learnt: Loose Lead (No pull)||Comment: Belle’s first session was loose lead walking. She did a great job outside and focused well. As the trainer started to expand the area of walking Belle did start to loose focus as the smells got to much for her! The trainer made the work area smaller again and used the yes marker and Belle was able to engage again. During this session Belle also walked passed the caretaker, whom she often reacts to. Although she watched him she didn’t react at all which was fantastic.||Focus: Distraction||C+|
|Skill learnt: Drop/ Down||Comment: Next up was drops near where the caretaker was working with loud tools. Belle did an awesome job and didn’t react at all to the caretaker and was very focused on the trainer. She did get distracted at one point when another staff member came by. However Belle was able to go back into a drop and refocus again.||Focus: Distraction||B|
|Skill learnt: Place Training||Comment: Belle’s final session was place which was near the kennel yards as well as a view of the caretaker still working. Belle broke a couple of times with trainer movement. But the trainer used the Uhuh word and a bit of leash pressure to get Belle back on place. Another staff member came out again but this time the trainer upped the treats and Belle didn’t break at all. Near the end of the session the trainer did some send to place with Belle and by the session she was running to place very well. Awesome work Belle.||Focus: Distraction||B+|
