2023-11-03

It was a PLEASURE training with your pooch today and we look forward to continuing to help you achieve your goals, skills and improve your relationship.

Your journey does not end here, it has only just begun!

"I trained hard, I played hard! Please find below the skills we worked on and my results. I look forward to showing you what I learnt and working on them more with you!" If you have any questions about the skills we trained please feel free to contact todays trainer."

Skill Comment We focused on Grade
Skill learnt: Door Manners Comment: We brought Bella down to the classroom, focusing on her door manners. As we greeted Bella, she tried to barge her way out the door. We practiced putting her into a sit and opening the door, not letting her through until the door was completely open with her maintaining the skill. We practiced this throughout the facility, making her wait by each door. Focus: Manners C+
Skill learnt: Place Training Comment: We played a game of RLGL with Bella, working on her impulse control. Bella worked nearby a few other dogs in in the classroom to add in some extra distraction. We used some physical play with Bella to get her excited before sending her to place to settle down. Once she was settled we then released her and started again. Once excited, it took Bella a little bit of time to settle herself down, but as the lesson went on, it took less and less time for her to relax. Focus: Conditioning C+
Skill learnt: Loose Lead (No pull) Comment: We went down to one of our lofts to practice Bella’s loose lead walking. We started in the classroom, going over the foundations of the skill. Once Bella was walking nicely inside consistently we made our way out, working alongside another dog in the loft next to us. Bella fixated on the other dog as we started, but with a bit of redirection and repetition, we got Bella’s engagement back on her trainer, with Bella pulling ahead a bit but spending most of her time walking with her trainer. Focus: Obedience B
