|Skill||Comment||We focused on||Grade|
|Skill learnt: Drop/ Down||Comment: In his first session the trainer focused on further developing his skill 'drop' with repetitions under distractions (training outside while, people, dogs and cars go past). We focused on this skill to continue to proof Bear's drop and build his impulse control. Bear performed very well, he drops with only the verbal cue 'drop', he shows great engagement and ignored all distractions. The trainer was very impressed with how well Bear is performing with his drops under high distractions. We suggest continuing to practise this skill at home.||Focus: Distraction||A|
|Skill learnt: Trick Training||Comment: In his second session we focused on further developing his skill 'peek a boo' with repetitions under distractions (multiple dogs training within the classroom). We focused on his to build engagement with Bear and begin working on a recall. Bear performed well, he initially required lure but this was quickly faded throughout the session. The trainer began adding the verbal cue 'peek a boo' and a small hand signal. We suggest continuing to practise this skill at home.||Focus: Foundation||B|
|Skill learnt: Loose Lead (No pull)||Comment: In his final session, Bear focused on further developing his skill 'loose lead walking' with repetitions under distractions (two dogs training In classroom and 4 food bowls). We focused on this skill to continue to build Bear's impulse control surrounding food. Bear performed very well, he showed great engagement with his trainer and ignored all distractions.||Focus: Distraction||A|
