|Skill||Comment||We focused on||Grade|
|Skill learnt: Targeting (touch)||Comment: For Bears first session we focused on his touch skill. During this session we took it back to basics as I remember he struggled to engage last session I worked woth him. Completely different dog today, happy to engage and motivated. For this session we just used the wooden spoon as a target to solidify his understanding of the task. Bear was happy to hit target even when moved to different places. This skill is easy to work on at home, Bear is at a level now where you could begin to work with other objects as the target.||Focus: Repetition||B|
|Skill learnt: Trick Training||Comment: For Bears second session we worked on his peekaboo skill. This is a really fun trick to train but also highly beneficial in public areas. Bear seems to already have a good concept of this skill. We did multiple repitions from different positions and different levels of distractions. Bear did very well, although a little slow but did complete the skill 95% of the time. To build up bears enthusiasm, it may be beneficial play some engagement games with Bear to build up a higher level of excitement for his rewards.||Focus: Repetition||A|
|Skill learnt: Targeting (touch)||Comment: For Bears final session we again worked on touch. This time we refined the target down to a folded post it note. Bear did well this this and managed to hit the target most of the time although was quite tired by this point and didn't want to stand up for long periods of time. Refining the target will help you grow this skill into other cool skills such as turning off a light switch or turning on the xbox.||Focus: Repetition||B|
