It was a PLEASURE training with your pooch today and we look forward to continuing to help you achieve your goals, skills and improve your relationship.

Your journey does not end here, it has only just begun!

"I trained hard, I played hard! Please find below the skills we worked on and my results. I look forward to showing you what I learnt and working on them more with you!" If you have any questions about the skills we trained please feel free to contact todays trainer."

Skill Comment We focused on Grade
Skill learnt: Loose Lead (No pull) Comment: For his first session today the trainer worked on his loose lead walking and his recalls at the same time! To push him the trainer took him to a very distracting environment of the front lawns. Every time he pulled away the trainer would practice his recall which he did well with today trotting back happily, he is still being lured into a sit at the end but he is responding to the verbal which is great! This was a fantastic first session and has set him up for a good rest of his day. Focus: Obedience B+
Skill learnt: Trick Training Comment: For his second session today the trainer wanted to have some fun and so did some high five training! The trainer noticed today that he does this very delicately and they wanted him really enthusiastically give a high five so focused on this today! To help with this the trainer would present their hand when asking for a high five not slowly and carefully but quickly with some excitement, this extra energy and movement encouraged Beani to start trying to hit the hand a bit quicker than usual! Eventually the trainer noticed he was having fun with this so made it into a game, they would present their hand to Beani and then ask for a high five, if he didn’t do it quick enough the trainer took their hand away, after a few times it missing the hand Beani started really trying to smack the hand which is exactly what the trainer was after! He may still need a few sessions until it sticks with him but he did so well during this session and the trainer is very happy. Focus: Repetition C+
Skill learnt: Conditioning Comment: For his last session today the trainer worked on his hoop skill! In previous sessions Beani has been hesitant about going through the hoop itself so today the hoop started on the ground and the trainer was just luring Beani back and forth through the hoop, to help with making Beani more confident in going through the hoop the trainer played with Beani a bit around the hoop getting him nice and excited before luring him through, this helped a lot as it enticed him to jump through the hoop instead of stepping through the hoop! After he saw he could do this it was much easier getting him back and forth through the hoop! The trainer was able to actually increase the height today which was such good progress for Beani to make and a great way to end the day! Focus: Desensitisation B
