|Skill||Comment||We focused on||Grade|
|Skill learnt: Crate Training||Comment: Crate - for his first session we worked on some crate conditioning and being able to send Baloo to the crate on command. At the beginning Baloo needed to have a treat thrown in to go into the crate but as the session progressed he was able to go in the crate by himself with just the hand signal and verbal cue. He even started going in the crate without asking in anticipation of the treats. He is fantastic at staying in the crate and would wait in the crate for his release word every time.||Focus: Repetition||B|
|Skill learnt: Loose Lead (No pull)||Comment: Loose lead - for his second session we worked on some loose lead outside with Baloo. Baloo had good focus throughout the session and the lead was nice and loose majority of the time. He did occasionally resist pressure but after simply standing form he would give in and return to the trainer's side. As the session continued he got better with this and would only resist for a second every now and then before returning.||Focus: Foundation||B|
|Skill learnt: Conditioning||Comment: Baloo visited Noah's Vet Clinic for his first swims! He was very brave getting fitted for a life jacket and although he was nervous getting in the water, once he realised started the laps he smashed it! To begin with he was all legs splashing everywhere however as the session progressed he started working out how to use his back legs and was swimming without assistance. This experience was great for building his confidence and rear end awareness!||Focus: Confidence||B+|
