|Skill||Comment||We focused on||Grade|
|Skill learnt: Loose Lead (No pull)||Comment: For his first session we did a couple engagement games to get him focused. We quickly moved onto loose lead walking inside with a dog distraction. He sometimes sat and looked a bit confused but once lured with a treat he quickly moved along. He had very good engagement. To improve this more distractions could be used.||Focus: Distraction||C+|
|Skill learnt: Drop/ Down||Comment: For his second session we worked on his confidence and engagement in the cattery. He was super distracted by all the smells and sights at the start but quickly started to look back to the trainer. For the last part of the session we sat near by some bird cages which were making all sorts of strange noises and worked on his drops. He was a bit cautious because he was working with a new trainer. However, he did super well and didn’t break position.||Focus: Distraction||C+|
|Skill learnt: Trick Training||Comment: This was a fairly new concept for Baloo, he didn’t really understand what was wanted with the task however he put his feet on the board a couple times really well and was rewarded heavily for this. There was another high energy dog in the classroom which he was quite fixated on so getting his focus was a little difficult. To improve this skill more, a quiet place with little/no distractions will be beneficial.||Focus: Duration||C+|
