|Skill||Comment||We focused on||Grade|
|Skill learnt: Drop/ Down||Comment: In his first session, Baloo focused on further developing his skill drop, working on staying focusing on the trainer and listening while the trainer speaks softly. We focused on this to challenge him and ensure he is listening. Baloo was initially very excitable but responded to the cue when spoke at normal volume. When the trainer decreased the volume (spoke softly) he initially struggled. However, with some guidance from the trainer (adding a hand signal), he began to perform well.||Focus: Obedience||B|
|Skill learnt: Trick Training||Comment: In his second session, Baloo focused on further developing his skill Quoits within the classroom. We focused on this skill to build his understanding. Mr Baloo loves to practice this skill, he quickly plays with the rings. He can be a little silly and not put the rings near the pole. During this session, the trainer was only rewarded when he put the ring onto the pole or on the wooden stand. Mr Baloo progressed well throughout the session, he was putting the ring near the pole consistently.||Focus: Foundation||B|
|Skill learnt: Trick Training||Comment: In his final session, Baloo focused on further developing his hold using a wooden spoon. Mr Baloo initially interacted with the spoon and quickly open his mouth to it. As he was doing this early in the session, the trainer challenges him with beginning to build duration. Baloo was initially unsure about what to do and became a little frustrated. However, as the session progressed he began to understand and hold the spoon in his mouth for longer.||Focus: Duration||B|
