Baloo did fantastic work today! He had good focus but can get distracted when excitable. Keep up the great work at home!

|Skill||Comment||We focused on||Grade|
|Skill learnt: Paws Up (on object)||Comment: For his first session we worked on his paws up skill with a bucket. Baloo was very enthusiastic at the start and it took a bit for him to focus and step up onto the object rather than jumping up onto it. At the start of the session he had no duration but as the session progressed we were able to get him to hold for a few seconds before being released which is great progress. Well done Baloo!||Focus: Duration||B|
|Skill learnt: Loose Lead (No pull)||Comment: For his second session we took Baloo outside to work on his loose lead. We started off in the paved area which he did great work with so we moved onto a grassy area for the added distraction. Baloo would get a bit distracted with sniffing but was very responsive to his markers and we were able to redirect his focus very easily. The next step will be to work on his loose lead around other dogs as they are one of his biggest distractions.||Focus: Distraction||B+|
|Skill learnt: Place Training||Comment: For his last session we worked on the place skill in the classroom around another dog. Baloo was fantastic at being sent to place but did struggle a few times to stay on place while the trainer did high energy movements. While he did improve over the session this still needs some work.||Focus: Distraction||B|
