Skill Comment We focused on Grade
Skill learnt: Loose Lead (No pull) Comment: Bailey’s first session was loose lead walking. The trainer took her a quick walk around the property and she did fantastic with this. The trainer then took Bailey into the main aisle of the kennel. It was very loud and stimulating with dogs barking and being nearby. Bailey was awesome and ignored all the dogs. She she reacted to one at a point in the middle of the session. But other than that quick bark she was awesome!!! Next time will be to walk the back of the kennels where it is a bit more busy. Focus: Distraction B+
Skill learnt: Drop/ Down Comment: Second session for Bailey was intro to emergency drops. At first Bailey didn’t really want to drop in the classroom. So the trainer focused on a repetition of drops then started on the emergency drops and it was a good start. Towards the end of session Bailey was dropping a lot quicker. Next goal will be for the trainer to take a few actual steps as Bailey drops rather than pretending. Focus: Repetition C
Skill learnt: Obstacle Course (Confidence Building) Comment: Bailey’s final session was the confidence course. She was a little hesitant at the start but then raced through it!! She did a fantastic job. Can really see the work you are putting into her training. Awesome awesome work!! Focus: Repetition X
