Skill Comment We focused on Grade
Skill learnt: Place Training Comment: In baileys first session we practiced her place skill. Now place will help with her jumping because she doing a skill. She knows place well we started practicing distance so putting her on place while walking around the object then releasing her. All four paws must be on the object doesn’t matter if she rolling around laying down or what not she just needs to be on place. This skill eventually will help when people coming over put her on place and she can not get of. But she’s only a puppy and she doing such an amazing job. Focus: Distance A
Skill learnt: Drop/ Down Comment: Baileys second session we practiced her drops with duration. First we practiced small repetitions then started focusing on her duration, as her session progressed she did do really well, she knows what has to be done for the treats. We will keep practicing this with her. Focus: Duration B+
Skill learnt: Loose Lead (No pull) Comment: Her last session we trained loose lead walking. Loose lead walking is one of the harder skills to teach them, because it doesn’t come naturally to the dogs. Pretty much all we do is walk if she pulls then we turn back the other way and keep doing this till she stops pulling, once she starts looking up at us that’s when we would reward because she’s starting to learn engagement is on us and not what is going on around her. She progressed well took awhile to get there. Focus: Repetition C+

We recommend your next step should be…
