|Skill||Comment||We focused on||Grade|
|Skill learnt: Loose Lead (No pull)||Comment: Bailey’s first session was loose lead walking. This was done outside in a different part of the property that Bailey hasn’t been before. She did well although she did pull at times. Bailey was interested in the horse to start with but quickly returned her focus to the trainer which was fantastic. She paid no attention to the sheep, again another win. Bailey did great!||Focus: Distraction||C+|
|Skill learnt: Drop/ Down||Comment: Second session was drops. The trainer did this in the kitchen while other staff were in preparing meals for the kennel. Bailey did get excited and didn’t want to hold position at all. As the session progressed the trainer increased the treats until Bailey was holding position longer until Bailey was able to hold position while staff walked around her. Next time the goal will be to have Bailey hold position from the start.||Focus: Distraction||C+|
|Skill learnt: Place Training||Comment: Last session was place by the kennel yards and Bailey did really well with this. The trainer did a few reps of this and then decided to do some trick training in that outside spot. Bailey has a good grasp of spin and was doing that well close to other dogs. The trainer also spent a little time on middle. But there does still need to be time spent on that. However, Bailey’s focus was awesome. On the way back to the office the trainer walked Bailey through the back part of the yards!! All the dogs very close to Bailey and she smashed it! No hesitation or nerves. Just a straight walk through!!!||Focus: Distraction||B+|
