2021-11-04

It was a PLEASURE training with your pooch today and we look forward to continuing to help you achieve your goals, skills and improve your relationship.

Your journey does not end here, it has only just begun!

"I trained hard, I played hard! Please find below the skills we worked on and my results. I look forward to showing you what I learnt and working on them more with you!" If you have any questions about the skills we trained please feel free to contact todays trainer."

Skill Comment We focused on Grade
Skill learnt: Drop/ Down Comment: For Baileys first session we worked on his drop skill. This is an important skill as it allows them to be in a controlled position while other things are going on. As Bailey is still learning the skill a lure was used to get him into his drop. Bailey started off by being lure under the trainer’s leg however progressed to being able to lure him by pushing the treat into his chest. As soon as Bailey was in a drop position he was told ‘yes’ and given the treat. The next step for Bailey will be to continue working on his drops using a lure. Focus: Foundation B+
Skill learnt: Place Training Comment: For Baileys second session we worked on his place skill. This skill is useful as it allows him to settle onto the bed. Bailey did really well in this session. He again needed to be lured onto the bed as he is learning the skill, but he is close to fading out the lure. The next step for Bailey will be to continue working on his place skill, fading out the lure. Focus: Foundation B+
Skill learnt: Play Comment: For Baileys last session we did a play session as he was no longer taking treats. This session is important as it allows him to feel more comfortable in the classroom environment and also creates engagement. Bailey loved to play with the bouncy ball and was showing the trainer good focus in order for her to throw it. The next step for Bailey will be to continue working on his engagement. Focus: Confidence A+

We recommend your next step should be…
