Bailey did very well today for her first day!
It was a PLEASURE training with your pooch today and we look forward to continuing to help you achieve your goals, skills and improve your relationship.
Your journey does not end here, it has only just begun!
"I trained hard, I played hard! Please find below the skills we worked on and my results. I look forward to showing you what I learnt and working on them more with you!" If you have any questions about the skills we trained please feel free to contact todays trainer."
|Skill||Comment||We focused on||Grade|
|Skill learnt: Conditioning||Comment: For session one with Bailey the trainer focused on conditioning him to the new environment and people, by rewarding him regularly for approaching the trainer. The trainer chose to do this skill first because Bailey was a bit nervous. By doing this Bailey warmed up fast and started gaining confidence with the trainer and the environment.||Focus: Confidence||A|
|Skill learnt: Drop/ Down||Comment: For session two with Bailey we practiced the skill drop. This skill is a controlled position and will help reduce jumping. The trainer started by trying to lure him by a Sphinx drop, this approach wasn’t working for Bailey so the trainer tried by luring her to a sit followed by a drop. By doing this Bailey went into a drop without a problem and continued to do so well throughout the session. The next step for this skill would be trying again with the Sphinx method.||Focus: Foundation||A|
|Skill learnt: Place Training||Comment: For session three with Bailey we practiced the skill place. The trainer started by luring Bailey into place and rewarding him once he was on place. Bailey’s duration was amazing as well as his engagement with the trainer. The next step for this skill would be decreasing the lure and adding a verbal cue.||Focus: Foundation||A|
